NPR’s Tiny Desk With Hogan

Kelly Hogan by Neko Case

Hogan joined the staff at NPR’s “Tiny Desk” for a stripped-down “lunchtime talent show” performance of a few songs from I Like To Keep Myself In Pain. Joined by guitarist Jim Elkington, bassist Casey McDonough and drummer Joe Camarillo, Hogan’s sings alternate versions of “Haunted” by Jon Langford (Mekons), Plant White Roses by Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields) and her album’s title track, written especially for her by longtime friend Robyn Hitchcock. Enjoy it here.
